Cerita indah datang silih berganti,
ada yg pergi, ada yg datang…..
karena tangan tak mampu menahan, ada yg terlepas….
cerita yg pernah ada tak mungkin dirubah,
tapi memperbaiki yg sudah-sudah adalah harapan baru
seperti senja yg berganti wajah dari hari ke hari,
tak pernah malu menampakkan rupa,
tak perduli ditolak atau diterima,
karena dia tahu dia harus ada.

I love to see slow shutter or long exposure shot on moving water, it seems creamy and opalescent.

The slow shutter photo from my flickr’s contact friend, Nora Carol gives me something new to learn more about long exposure shot. I can see this view at the beach every time i want to, but the different is how she touches the photo.
She used slow shutter, 2 second exposure then, she edited it with a little bit of selective colors, contrast and unsharp mask.

To have a shot like that, all you need is :

• a camera (dslr or at least prosumer camera)
• a very steady tripod especially when shooting with slow shutter speeds
• we need filters to avoid the overexposed image, basic filter to get the image are ND4 or ND8 filters (ND-Neutral Density) , you also need a GND filter (Gradual Neutral Density filter) .
• Long exposures create noise. So set your camera’s ISO to the lowest possible setting.
• Mind the light. You will not always be able to use long shutter speeds, especially if the light is too strong since you will lose detail in the highlights.

In photography, exposure is the total amount of light which allowed to fall on the photographic medium (photographic film or image sensor) during the process of taking a photograph. Exposure is measured in lux seconds, and can be computed from exposure value (EV) and scene luminance over a specified area. More in Wikipedia.

oh Ghossss seems i see myself as a gossips seeker these days LoL.

But this is the fact, gossips are everywhere babe. Sometimes we never ask them but they come easily, leaving us a hurt without they know how deep it hurts us.

A gossip never need a proof actually, but it needs wisdom & an open heart. for we may learn from them.

Only there is two choices to answer those gossips :
Firstly, be wise.
Secondly, be mature.
Or it will be killing us softly.

I just have learned how to manage those gossips when it befall a friend, of course before you share or they share their issue you should assure yourself to be a trust worthy person.

Firstly, when it comes… we are shock, get hurts, worry etc.

Secondly, we are crying together till the tear finish enough lol, i mean that what a lovely friendship we make when it comes and hurt us. And you know what, gossip make us closer. (women style hehe)

Thirdly, need to check & recheck those gossips before we eat it instantly. If the gossips about our self, it easy to check and ask our soul for the truth. But if someone started a rumor about someone you close with, you may need a bit tired to prove about it. But again A gossip never need a proof actually, but it needs wisdom & an open heart. for we may learn from them.

Apart from is it true or not, in fact, a rumor push us to taste it. You have to have a dare to taste it, face it with love (i believe love is the most can solve problem in life) and of course don’t let it kill you softly just because you let your soul get a space to being weak. Trust me, after you can pass this situation you will get your life so bright, colorful, and enjoyable.

Say thank you for many things in life And don’t let your love blind your heart as well

Firstly, Flickr & Commenting in

A friend told me that she was thinking to quit from flickr.

“it take too much of my time”
“i hate too much comments..i like yours and few friends hehe.”
“i want to be like those day when i only have few comment. its easy that way.”
“..not easy to comment on every photos..but i hate to not reply back.”

For a sweet person like her, commenting in busy time is a pressure. No wonder to give a reply back to more than 100 commentator everyday is a big job, need more than 2 hours everyday to reply those comments. It is very reasonable things of why she want to quit.

“But those comment and the frequency visit made on your flickr site is a crucial factors for those photographer planned to sell their pictures. the more comment and visit the higher their possibility to sell the picture because their picture will be on top list of search. Let started taking picture for fun but ended up selling those pictures.” ~NC~

Nice Idea… yea why not ?

Most of us post a photo in flickr just because want to share, and take a big hope that they will like and enjoy those photos. Critic is needed sometimes, but too much critic make tired.

“They requested us to post a photo and then they condemn the pictures, saying that its too much reflection, too much saturated..not good composition. They’ll try to look for any errors.” ~NC~

Secondly, Some of flickrer are planning to quit cause of gossips.
Why so many gossips around flickr ?
Is it because of flickr id is close with YM ? easy way to sign up to Flickr.com using your YM id.
Honestly, i was bit tired about gossips around Flickr. I want give a damn with those gossips.

Thirdly, Kopdar is the new trend in flickr now. It fun to meet someone we know well in flickr. Kopdar or Kopi Darat (meeting a friend) not only in Indonesia, but i heard in Malaysia and another country make Kopdar session as well.

The questions is what is the intention of Kopdar ?

A friend told me there is a Kopdar session that only showing off their expensive camera, accessories and their technical skill.

Really ? that is a bad things

For me, Kopdar is fun… beside of we meet someone with same hobby of photography, too many things i can learn from. How to shot, how to manage the lighting, object photo, etc. Sounds great  ?
